Class Summary: Reporting to the President, the Vice President for Administrative Services serves as a key leader in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of all administrative functions across the main campus and two satellite locations. This executive-level position is responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight for Facilities, Human Resources, Campus Safety and Wellness, and Professional Development. The successful candidate will be a results-oriented leader with a strong track record of managing staff, overseeing complex logistics, and fostering a safe and supportive environment for the college community.

Minimum Education/Training/Experience
- Master’s degree in business, administration or related field.
- Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students and external
partners. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to student-centered service and continuous improvement.
Preferred Education/Training/Experience
Doctorate degree in related field.
Minimum Knowledge & Skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
- Strong project management skills, including planning, executing, and evaluating site-related
projects. - Technological proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to respond to unexpected challenges effectively.
- Capacity to build positive relationships with students, faculty, staff, and community members.
- Understanding student services and how physical environments impact student success.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to support reporting and stakeholder
engagement.

Job Duties
- Develop and implement strategic plans for all areas of oversight that align with the college’s mission, vision, and strategic goals. Provide expert advice and counsel to the President on administrative matters.
- Oversee all aspects of facilities planning, construction, maintenance, and operations for the main campus and satellite locations. Ensure a safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing environment conducive to learning and working.
- Lead the Human Resources department, ensuring effective talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, and professional development programs. Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
- Provide executive oversight to the Safety and Wellness initiatives at the College, promoting a culture of safety, health, and well-being across the college. Develop and implement emergency preparedness plans.
- Manage departmental budgets effectively, ensuring fiscal responsibility and optimal allocation of resources.
- Oversee complex logistical operations related to facilities projects, event support, and departmental resource allocation across multiple campus locations.
- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise a diverse team of administrative professionals. Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Develop, implement, and enforce administrative policies and procedures in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as college policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students, community leaders, and vendors.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement data-driven decision-making to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in all areas of responsibility.
- Ensure meticulous follow-through on all initiatives and projects, driving them to successful completion within established timelines and parameters.
