Position description
Appointments will be part-time (1-2 classes per quarter), from one quarter up to one year in duration.
Qualifications
Basic qualifications (required at time of application)
- hold an MFA or PHD in Creative Writing
demonstrated outstanding teaching experience (at least 2 years teaching at the College level) in at least three of the following genres/areas: Fiction Writing, Poetry Writing, Creative Nonfiction Writing, Experimental Writing, Screenwriting, and Speculative Fiction Writing. - Publications in Peer-Reviewed Journals
Preferred qualifications
- Demonstrated outstanding teaching experience in more than three of the following genres/areas: Fiction Writing, Poetry Writing, Creative Nonfiction Writing, Experimental Writing, Screenwriting, and Speculative Fiction Writing.
- One or more books in the above genres
