Utilizing the classroom, anatomy lab, microscopy lab, live animals, and teaching technology, this faculty member will provide students with an applied and clinical science-based education in pathology, preparing them to progress into more advanced coursework. Working collaboratively with other faculty and staff, the content in this course series will align with the coursework occurring simultaneously in the Clinical Skills and Professional Development courses in the second year of the DVM program and building on the Healthy Animal course series from year 1. This faculty member will help ensure students achieve the necessary milestones in all pre-clinical competencies.
