The School of Design is seeking an adjunct teacher who is passionate about visual storytelling and who excels in narrative creation through the fusion of movement and image. We are looking for someone who thrives at the intersection of various disciplines, such as puppetry, comics, and video, and can integrate imagination with design-led inquiry. The ideal candidate should have teaching experience and can work with students to create energetic, kinetic, adaptable, and unconventional work. They should be adept at telling stories that drive emotions and new understanding about outsiders, unlikely communities, nomads, rule-breakers, innovators, and risk-takers.

Qualifications:

The School invites applicants with the following qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree plus teaching and/or professional practice experience in design or a related field.
  2. University-level teaching experience preferred.
  3. Experience in storytelling, representation, and prototyping for interaction desired.
