Grace College invites applications and nominations for the full-time position of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Engineering. Responsibilities include teaching, advising, department and college service, scholarly activity, and professional development.

Primary responsibilities include contributing to the ongoing development of our Engineering program, supporting ABET accreditation efforts, teaching undergraduate courses in engineering, and mentoring students in both their academic and Christian growth. Additional responsibilities involve departmental and college service, contributing to research in your field, facilitating student research, and engaging in professional development.

The engineering department at Grace is young, ABET accredited, and growing. This dynamic department supports an SAE Baja Team, performs research for several Medical Technology companies, and actively supports the community. Plans are in place for new facilities for Engineering, coupled with the Orthopedic Innovation and Research Center. The department is focused on using hands-on applications to cement the theoretical foundations of the engineering profession. The objective of the department is to create engineers that will be ready to succeed in the ever-changing world of industry and strive to use the skills to make the world a better place. The successful candidate will continue to develop classes and lab experiences to challenge and equip the Mechanical Engineering students, and potentially facilitate expansion into other engineering areas. The Engineering department desires an intimate connection to the surrounding community and the successful candidate will continue to foster this connection.
