Hiring Range

$60000 – $82000

About this Position

Manages all phases of certified flight instructor for the OSU Flight Center. Conducts phase checks for each phase of flight training mandated by the FAA part 141. Maintain and monitor all student training record and ensures student records are current and accurate according to IAW FAA part 141.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Aviation or a related field. (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • One year of related work experience in an aviation higher education institution.

    Must meet FAA requirements as outlined in Federal Aviation Regulation part 141.36 Assistant chief instructor qualifications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Science, Aerospace Administration and Operations
  • Minimum of 1 year experience at a 141 flight school.
