The School of Health Sciences of Centenary College of Louisiana invites applications for a tenure-trackposition at the assistant professor level in the Kinesiology Department beginning August 2026. Applicantsmust have a terminal degree in Biology or a related field, demonstrated strength or a commitment toexcellence in teaching, and a willingness to mentor undergraduate students in research. We seekcandidates whose research, teaching and/or service has prepared them to contribute to our commitmentto engagement and inclusion of culturally diverse audiences in higher education, and particularly in Kinesiology.
Centenary College seeks candidates with a strong commitment to student-centered pedagogy who canteach in an introductory Kinesiology course. Priority will be given to candidates with an interest inbiomechanics or related disciplines. Candidates must be able to teach Biomechanics, as well as otherlower- and upper-level undergraduate courses in Kinesiology, such as Motor Learning, ExerciseAssessment and Prescription, etc. Centenary fosters a collaborative and interdisciplinary teachingenvironment, and encourages faculty to contribute to integrative coursework and scholarship that spanstraditional academic boundaries
