Position Description: Culver-Stockton invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Business. This is a full-time, tenure-track position beginning in the fall of 2026 and is a face-to-face position. The college seeks a Business Professor with the ability to teach Finance, Corporate Financial Management, Financial Institutions and Monetary Policy, Investments, and International Corporate Finance. This position offers the opportunity to join a dynamic and collaborative Department of Business to develop and deliver a finance curriculum, mentor students, and engage in professional activities. The Business Programs are accredited by the International Accreditation Council for Business Education.
Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging Finance, Corporate Financial Management, Financial Institutions and Monetary Policy, Investments, Personal Finance and International Corporate Finance. Incorporate experiential learning opportunities into coursework, such as case studies, simulations, and community-based projects.
- Advise and mentor students on academic and career development.
- Engage in scholarly activities or professional practice in the field of finance.
- Contribute to the ongoing growth of the Department of Business through curriculum development, assessment activities, and accreditation efforts.
- Participate in departmental, college-wide, and community service activities.
- Assist with recruitment efforts for students.
- Must have the ability to work effectively with students and colleagues and have a strong commitment to undergraduate liberal arts education.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Master in Business or related field required for renewable lecturer position.
- Previous teaching experience and corporate finance experience are desirable.
- Ph.D. in Business, DBA, or related field for a tenure-track position.
- ABD candidates will be considered.
