Job Description
The Department of Mathematics at Ohio University seeks to hire an Assistant Professor (tenure-track) to:
1. Support course offerings and program development in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
2. Conduct research and direct dissertations in an area of Mathematical Science connected to Artificial Intelligence.
3. Support the department’s overall teaching and service needs.

Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D. in the Mathematical Sciences or closely related fields conferred by the start date of the position.
Experience teaching in a higher education setting.
Record of research in the Mathematical Sciences with connections to Artificial Intelligence.
Preferred Qualifications

- A strong research program
- Leadership potential
- Experience teaching topics related to Artificial Intelligence

Pay Rate: Salary will be commensurate with education and experience, while also considering internal equity.
