Description
The Division of Nursing and Health Professions at Rivier University has an opening in their low-residency Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program. This position requires the faculty member to teach both on-line and on-campus, with a regular on-campus presence. This program prepares the graduate to practice and provide care to patient populations across the lifespan. Related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master of Science Degree in Nursing required
- Nationally certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
- Clinical experience in psychiatric mental health across the lifespan and on-going commitment to advance practice and serving the community with students.
- Doctoral preparation preferred or in progress
- Experience in nursing education, graduate level preferred
- Knowledge of best practices in simulation
- Must have experience or be willing to teach in the online format
