The California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) at Alliant International University, Sacramento invites applications for a full-time Assistant or Associate Professor/Training Clinic Director in our Clinical PsyD program.
This dynamic role offers a unique opportunity to blend clinical training, leadership and academic responsibilities:
- Clinic Director (25%): Serve as the Director of our program’s training clinic, Alliant Sacramento Psychological Services (ASPS), which provides accessible telehealth services to clients across California.Learn more about our clinic and its mission: https://www.alliantclinics.org/alliant-sacramento-psychological-services
- Faculty Responsibilities (75%): Contribute as a core faculty member in our APA-accredited Clinical Psychology PsyD Program, engaging in teaching, mentoring, research, and program development.
We are seeking a dedicated clinician-educator with a passion for training the next generation of clinical psychologists and a commitment to service, equity, and evidence-based practice.

Compensation:
- Depending on qualifications: Assistant Professor (starting) $90,294.42 or Associate Professor (starting) $105,571.38 annually.
- Note: The salary listed is for a 9-month faculty contract, paid out over 12 months.
- Additional compensation via summer teaching and fall/spring overload if desired.

Key Responsibilities:
- Clinic Director: Oversee clinic operations, supervise practicum student training, and ensure quality client services and training experiences year-round.

- The clinic’s mission is to provide accessible and affordable psychological services to all Californians, no insurance needed. We practice from a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive framework, and serve all individuals including those from diverse backgrounds such as members of the LGBTQIA+ community and immigrants.
- The Clinic Director has a significant voice in the direction of the clinic, based on their interests and expertise. The right candidate will have the opportunity to make a significant positive impact in our community.
- Faculty: Teach graduate courses, chair dissertations, engage in research/scholarship, and provide service to the university and profession. Clinical supervision of practicum students can also be counted toward teaching units.
Qualifications:
- PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
- Licensed or license-eligible in California. If license-eligible, must be licensed in another state or at minimum have passed EPPP. Must obtain licensure within first year of employment.
- Strong teaching, clinical supervision, and program management skills.
- Commitment to cultural humility and social justice, and incorporating multicultural factors into the practice of psychology.

- Office Location: On Sacramento Campus with flexible working hours and hybrid two days.
