Position Summary:
The University of South Florida College of Nursing invites applications for a tenured Full Professor position. The college is seeking a nationally recognized scholar with a distinguished record of sustained, federally funded research and high-impact publications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interdisciplinary collaboration in the fields of health disparities, health policy, and health outcomes research, particularly at the intersection with artificial intelligence, machine learning, and natural language processing.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will lead a nationally recognized research program in health outcomes and policy-relevant population health, with ongoing external funding. Responsibilities include mentoring graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, junior and interdisciplinary faculty; engaging in collaborative research across colleges (e.g., AI, Cybersecurity, and computer Science, Pharmacy, Public Health, Nursing, Medicine); teaching graduate-level courses in health economics, research methods, or data science; and contributing to institutional service and strategic initiatives related to academic program development.
