Lindsey Wilson College, a United Methodist affiliated liberal arts college located in south central Kentucky, is seeking candidates for the position of Instructor or Assistant Professor of Communication beginning in January 2025 or August 2025. Located on more than 200 partially wooded acres on a hilltop in Columbia, Kentucky, LWC is in the heart of south central Kentucky, in the foothills of Appalachia. Within an hour of Columbia, there are multiple opportunities for outdoor recreation as Lindsey Wilson is located near several major tourist attractions including Lake Cumberland, Mammoth Cave National Park, and Cumberland Falls. It is also less than two hours from the cultural opportunities available in Louisville, KY and Nashville, TN.

Interested candidates holding a Ph.D. in Communication or a closely related field with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours of communication coursework are encouraged to apply; ABD will be considered. Candidates holding an M.A. in Communication with an exceptional history of teaching or professional experience may be considered at the rank of instructor. Candidates with credentials in integrated strategic communication are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate must demonstrate a commitment to teaching, academic advising, ongoing professional development, collaboration with other faculty, and service.
