Point University is seeking a qualified instructor to teach Spanish courses for its Dual Enrollment program, which serves students from public school systems, private schools, and homeschool settings. The primary teaching responsibility will be:
- SPAN 101: Spanish I
- SPAN 102: Spanish II
Requirements
- Master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in the subject field; doctorate preferred. Applicants with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the subject area or significant professional experience in a relevant field may be considered.
- Effective teaching ability/excellent communication skills
- Basic computer literacy
- Prior teaching experience at the collegiate level preferred
- Experience with Canvas LMS preferred
- Willingness to be a professional role model and mentor.
- Commitment to undergraduate education, professional growth, service, and scholarship in a distinctively Christian setting, including agreement with the University’s mission and goals, values, and doctrinal statement.
