We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated International Relations Manager to join our dynamic team and help expand our global presence and partnerships.
Position Overview
The International Relations (IR) Manager will play a key role in promoting Woosong University internationally and establishing high-quality partnerships with institutions around the world. This is a full-time administrative position combined with a visiting professor appointment. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, English-speaking environment and must be capable of independently managing communications, negotiations, and strategic planning across diverse cultures.
Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain a comprehensive strategic plan for assigned regions to promote Woosong University and achieve global outreach goals.
- Lead the full Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) process, including research, communication with prospective partners, online meetings, academic program mapping, and formalizing agreements.
- Meet MOU targets in assigned regions and ensure timely progress reporting.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with internal academic departments and faculty leadership.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including Regional Marketing, Admissions, and Digital Marketing.
- Organize and lead regular meetings to update stakeholders on progress, resolve MOU issues, and submit reports to university leadership.
- Serve as the main liaison for international partners and coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve partnership issues.
- Represent Woosong University at international fairs, conferences, workshops, and on-site partner visits (international travel may be required with prior approval).
- Teach one 3-credit course per semester in your field of specialization.
- Work full-time on-site at the Global Center office.
Required Qualifications

- Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in international relations, international student recruitment, or higher education administration.
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Goal-oriented and self-motivated, with a high level of accountability.
- Must meet the requirements for an E-1 (Professor) visa in South Korea, including at least 2 years of relevant teaching or administrative experience at the university level.
- Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism in a multicultural environment.
- Preferred: Korean language proficiency; Spanish language skills are a plus.
