Job description

The Sr. Director reports to the AVP for International Enrollment Management. The Sr. Director of International Enrollment Management at Webster University will develop and execute strategies to attract international students to U.S. campuses by managing recruitment activities including global travel and partnerships with agents and schools. The Sr. Director will utilize data to forecast future trends and market changes and assist the AVP with identifying key metrics and performance indicators to track progress. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, a deep understanding of international markets, and collaboration with various campus departments to support student success throughout the entire student lifecycle. This role is primarily responsible for the B2B recruitment model for the international student population. Key responsibilities include developing international feeder institutions, leading the international business development/recruitment team, and overseeing the onboarding and training process of agents, counselors, etc.

Minimum Qualifications
bachelor’s degree (or at least 4 years of direct experience in a similar role recruiting for US institutions) in international business, international relations, or a related field.

5 years of experience in international admissions and recruitment, with leadership or supervisory experience

Preferred Qualifications
MBA or Masters Degree in International Relations

Candidate should be prepared to be flexible including working during evening and weekends on regular basis. This position is approved for an off-site flexible, work arrangement as offered in Webster University’s Flexible and/or Remote Work Arrangements policy. Use by individual employees is at the discretion of the supervisor and unit leadership based on department and University needs. This position will require frequent international travel.
